Playful

trying out the quilt from Cindy

notice my scratch from the playground

Margaret shows off her new quilt for the big-girl bed she will have in about a year. She loves to jump on beds like the little monkeys. Check out her stained top from dinner and playing hard at the playground. I don't think anything will get those stains out! Margaret is becoming increasingly independent in her play which allows me some more freedom. However, this does cause some problems like when she pulls the toilet paper all over the house before I can catch her!

Day in the Life...

brusha brusha brusha

Here are the pictures from the week Thomas and I were out of town. As you can see, Margaret had a blast with extended family!

Cupid comes to town!

Margaret loves dressing (or undressing) as Cupid! Here are a few of her pics. I will try to post some shots of what she did while we were away but Shutterfly is not cooperating.

Babies and Trucks

Margaret's current favorite things are babies and trucks. She often pushes them both around in her stroller as seen in a picture here.  She also likes to get into any door without a lock. One day, she pulled out the cooking pot and proceeded to sit in it, lid and all. She is a hoot! We will be having a short hiatus from the blog as Thomas and I are going on a trip to celebrate our 30th birthdays! Don't worry, Margaret will be in good hands as both sets of grandparents are coming to watch her!  We are so lucky!

Tutu

Check out one of Margaret's Christmas presents from her Godparents.  She won't wear the tiara or carry the wand YET.

Orange you glad you follow this blog?! hehe

Sledding, Sweet Boy, and Sandwich bags!

Margaret and I tried out the new sled. She was quite indifferent but I have a feeling the sentiment will improve with time.

On Sunday, we attended William Wendell Beck's baptism and had a great time! Margaret loves her new God-brother and played well at a brunch in his honor.

Finally, this is a shot of what Margaret can do in the time it takes me to put something in the downstairs freezer. She saw Mama pick out a sandwich bag and thought she would do the same!

Oh, and Amelia loves Margaret's Dora futon.
